Thanked: 1Can I sell a Gold Dollar 208? Noob
So, I hope I'm posting this in the correct place and that it's not too silly of a question but..
I'm extremely new to straight razor shaving, my first razor was a gold dollar 208 that I got less than a month ago. It was brand new and had been professionally honed after a fresh bevel set.. so, Shave ready.
I've enjoyed it but was told in the long run (if I decided wet shaving with a straight was for me)
That I would eventually want to invest a little more into a better or possibly different style straight.
Sure enough I've caught the RAD that's been going around. Ijust got a wonderful deal on two beautiful vintage razors in excellent condition Shane ready, from a fellow srp member. However, I'm a new father and we just bight or first house so money is tight.
With the two new razors I can't really justify keeping the GD 208, but it's brand new in perfect condition with about 25 shaves on it..
Long story to ask... is it worth putting up on Srp to sell? Any feedback is always welcome and if I may take just a second to thank the entire SRP community, you guys have made my transition into SR shaving a breeze!

No. You cannot sell anything on the open forum.
Most especially that.

Tom is correct, however, you can sell it in the Buy-Sell-Trade, razors and blades section.
General buying, selling and trading can be done in the Buy / Sell / Trade forum, and only in that area. Everyone is allowed to post an item for trade. Everyone is allowed to purchase items for sale. Only people who have a classifieds selling membership are allowed (able) to post items for sale.
Classifieds selling membership costs 10$ per year.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 1My apologies, I understand that selling in the open forum is not permitted. The reason for my question is more regarding the razor itself. Again I apologize for any misunderstanding

Yeah. No getting your money back with the cost/shipping and ten dollars to sell on the BST.
Move on and add it to the wind-chime pile!

Thanked: 1The GD 208 even shave ready only ran around 35$ count shipping and the sellers fee and it's not worth selling. It's a fine razor. I'll start a rotation I guess.
Thank you guys for your time and assistance.

If you ever take up honing, you've got a blade to play with. Until then, you can use it when you travel.
