I recently purchased a Wostenholm Superb Pipe and was wondering if anyone had any info on how to nail down the date of manufacture.

The front of the tang reads "SUPERB (Pipe logo)" and the back reads Geo. Wostenholm & Son, Sheffield England. It came with a box that had Liverpool on one end.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much!

Difficult without a photo. Wosty made razors for a couple of hundred years or so. A photo of the razor open displaying the blade and scales, a shot of the tang stamp as well would be best.

The inclusion of 'England' on the stamp indicates post-1891, anything else is hard to say without pictures of the razor.
