I have one of these... it's a remarkable razor. Can you tell us any more about it? Do you know the vintage and make of the original blanks?

    Hi HungeJOe

    thank you for your choice.

The razor blanks provides from Forges Foreziennes (Thiers) in centre France, it's a traditional french drop steel razor 100c6 and hartened to 58-60Hrc.

Forges Foreziennes had for a long made the razor blanks for lost of razor grinder and maker in Thiers and including Thiers-Issard till 2005.

The manufacture still produces blanks for cutlers in the neighbourhood of Thiers.

This razor is produced in France where I have established a new workshop in the country of Thillot since 2018.

It looks very much like a Thiers Issard so not surprised that they used the same blanks.
