My Buck straight finally arrived!
After semi-patiently waiting for a couple of months, it finally arrived.

Very nice 'collectors packaging'.
The carbon fiber scales have a nice feel to them. The razor is well balanced and the jimps feel great. The cutback on the toe is unusual but not as exaggerated as the photos suggest and was not an issue during the shave.
Bevels were even end-to-end and side-to-side. The blade was honed (no tape) to what looks like a 10-12K finish. As close to truly shave-ready as I've seen from any manufacturer. Nailed the HHT all the way down the blade. Buck obviously took the time to understand what a shaving edge is supposed to be. Nice polish on it but not a 'chrome' finish.
The shave sounded like a Hart or PRC 1/4 hollow but the blade looks closer to 1/2 hollow. Did a very nice one-pass shave. I'm hoping the edge holds up to my retention expectations.
A little pricey. A little funky looking. Still a keeper in my book.
