Superb set ! If posted on ebay for example, with low starting price and the right key words, the price should hit the roof !
It's probably a set from the late XVIII, possibly english or from Norway or Sweden (I know they used the pipe too).
Tortoise shell for sure.

Search for "Pipe trademark razor William Hutchinson" in Google and
Bing.
These old razors survive for a lot of reasons. But for the last
100 years shaving is not the most likely reason for keeping them.
Mid 1800 perhaps 1830... if the old discussion here was correct.
Personally I wouldn't get rid of them, they are obviously rare, perhaps early 19th century, and you may regret losing them! Besides the razors, the rest of the set is unique as well.
List it here among aficionados and see what it brings...
I think I'll list it on eBay soon and see what it brings. It needs to be in the hands of someone who can really appreciate it.
