Default More about Louper and Elbeco

    Greetings,

I hope there are some out there who can fill in the blanks, I have two razors that pose as somewhat of a mystery (probably more to lack of internet search skills)

    1. Louper Flamma-select 224 - I have seen others but not this particular one, history and possible value (not selling, would just like to know if I overpaid for it) info would be good.

    2. Elbeco C - I found a vague reference to an Elbeco D awhile ago, can't seem to find it again, but it still was very vague as to who manufactured them from where.

    tks in advance, cheersName: _DSC0087.jpg

LouPer razors were manufactured by Louis Perlmann, out of Solingen,
    Blumenstrasse 91 in 1939, Schlagbaumerstrasse 114 in 1983 (Germany).

ELBECO was a trademark owned by Heinrich Böker & Co, one of the larger razor manufacturing outfits, another Solingen razor.

I tried to send you a PM with additional info, but somehow your account does not accept PMs.

If you wade through the info in the link you may be able to find the makers.
