I really like 5/8", full hollow, round tip. I would encourage you to try others.

A square or pointed tip works well also - you just have to watch that tip. I don't have a mustache or other facial hair and don't need those features for precision work around those.

I do not have a favourite width. I do prefer a 1/2 hollow blade. A full hollow that is not too noisy is awesome too. Unlike others I prefer not to get a lot of chatting from my razor. For me as long as the edge is nice, the width does not matter that much, and as long as the blade does not sing throughout the shave I'm pretty happy. I like square points over spike points or round points. I have lightly muted all of my spike points, which makes them a little more friendly.

5/8 for me. Why? Not too wide, not too narrow, and fairly ubiquitous.

I prefer full wedges in the 7/8 and up. I have them up to 10/8 and enjoy the shave I get.
I also have some vintage 5/8-6/8 that are in the rotation as well. These are some fine hollow ground razors. I don't mind the feedback from them,to me it's their "personality".

I prefer round ends over the pointed ones. I do have a mustache and goatee, but am able to trim around them fine. But it did take some real practice not to mess them up.

This is quite interesting, thanks to the OP

If I were to design one, It would be 7/8 - 8/8 ... 3/4 hollow .. a bit of a thumb notch, square tip, thick spine swayback with a slight smile. It would be quiet but not silent. Scales in transluscent brown horn.
I would really like to have a blade made from a new supersteel like S35VN or something to that effect.

I prefer a 7/8 to 8/8 full hollow, ideally with a square point.

I liked the thicker grind and bigger size so I got myself a 7/8 quarter hollow and that is now my current favourite. The reason being I like the extra weight and I am not a huge fan of the scraping sound that you get from more hollow ground razors. Lots of people prefer to have the sound as it acts as another metric for how the shave is going. It's just not for me.

As for the point anything will do as far as the shave goes, but I really like the Spanish point from an aesthetic point of view. It just looks great.

You will get as many answers on here as there are members. It is really subjective. As TC said anything with a decent edge.
Well, of course it is subjective. That is the great thing about opinions and discussion. Life would be pretty boring if we all liked the same thing.

For me 5/8"-6/8" full hollow with a round point. I start having issues above 7/8" and below 9/16"

13/16 and above quarter hollow square point, as for custom razors 8/8 + quarter hollow with a slight smile jimps shoulderless.
