Help with Razor Maker Information
Hello Gents....
I have a straight that was given to me.
I can read the engraving but have failed to find out anything about the razor or maker.
Engraved on the blade: "The Favorite"
Engraved on the tang:
C.C Hall
Cutler (NOT cutlery)
Margate
Any information will be appreciated.
Thanks.

C C Hall is likely to be a retailer with a shop in Margate, which is on the south coast of England. A number of Sheffield makers marked the blades 'The Favorite' such as Taylors Eye Witness plus Hobsons made one as well. There could be others even razors from Germany...

Thanked: 101Nice looking old straight. I feel it could be a German a made razor from the picture but it is a crap shoot really. Should be a great shaver!
