Default Eclipse Cutlery Co. ... is it Boker?

I got this razor several months ago very cheap at a local market. I've been meaning to get around to cleaning and honing it but I haven't just yet. I put it away and didn't look at it until today, I was organizing and... is that a tiny tree I see on the tail? Looks like the Boker tree, no?

Eclipse Cutlery Co, merchant in hardware and wholesaler in San Francisco, CA 1883-1918. Eclipse was also a trademark of Boker. Made for Eclipse by Boker, very common to see the tree on the tail of made for razors.

Martin, I had always thought that the Ohio Farmer razors were Bokers?
    No trees, AFAIK.

Never saw a Manhattan with that trademark?

Thanks for the info guys - glad it's a Boker! That tree is really tiny on there, easy to miss especially if there's pits and gunk on the tail.

Me neither, but The Manhattan Cutlery Co in Sheffield England produce many razor mainly for American market, and sold in America through the New York cutlery importer H. Boker.

I cannot see the forest for the trees, I reckon!

I suppose if we ever see a Manhattan with that Indian logo, it is surely a very old one!

    Great stuff, Martin.
Now I'm keepin my eye open for an Ohio Farmer. Gots to add it to the rotation. [emoji56] congrats on the sweet find, Tuzi.
