Thanked: 133My Wade and Butcher is restored!
First razor of mine that was a gift to me. Razor was in okay condition and sent it off to get repaired after 4-5 years of having it. Blown away by the restoration, thanks Gssixgun.

Great job as usual.........Glen never disappoints!
Glen does some fantastic work. He once said he could not add metal to a razor but he did on a Joseph Rodgers & Sons frame back for me a while back but I can't find the tread (A Slick Fix) to link to it."If You Knew Half of What I Forgot You Would Be An Idiot" - by DoughBoy68

That's a gorgeous razor, and I have a couple exactly like that...beautiful FBU's that have been hollow ground, from 7/8 to 8/8 usually see them, and I swear to the razor gods, when I shave with them, it's like shaving with the inspiration for the Spanish Fili, Palmera, Hoppe etc.. #14's, only nicer IMO...the Great, Great Grandfather of the #14 and inspiration behind the style (I'm making this part up, but it sounds nice!).
I always get a laugh using these blades, the grind has been done superbly, transforming these massive old wedges into these singing blades...congrats, and it looks stunning - enjoy.
And seeing this, has decided the razor for my evening shave....

Outstanding! Congrats indeed. I love my FBU. I'd never part with it.
Enjoy!
