Default Do they still sell blades for this vintage Italian razor set?

    Hi,
I was wondering if there we fittings available for purchase anywhere that would fit this stem. I don't know exactly what it's called or how to find it.

I'm hoping someone here has some knowledge to share. The stem and stand are Made in Italy.

    Thanks everyone

Looks like it might be an Injector possibly. Could you post closer pics of where the blade goes in?

    Here you go
The head does not twist off the stem either, I gently tried and it didn't look like it was one of its features.

I'm just wondering if there are blades that fit onto this stem. If so, where could they be purchased. Online or in person, doesn't matter

Coyld you show the other side of the razor and a picture of the width of the razor up against that ruler?

I suspect that a modern injector blade would work, but checking standard dimensions....

Also, while I'm here and I have your kind help and attention; Does anyone know anything about this item? The age, maybe some light history. All I know is it looks old, it's made in Italy, and it's quite charming

I've seen a LOT of razors but I've never seen this one. It's very interesting, hopefully someone here will have a solid answer for you

Does anything move where the blade goes such doors or pivots or anything?

I very lightly cleaned some of the "grit" from the upper handle rings with my nail but nothing still. Nothing seems to turn, budge or remove on the top portion. The lines that stick out where the blade would rest seem to indicate to me, that something could be slid onto it, a razor. In regards to removing a part from the top, I don't notice a groove large enough to give me the impression it's not all one piece up there.

The bottom however, I was able to twist off. I don't know what it does exactly, inside the tube is hollow though the metal is still thick and not cheap feeling. More pics....
