Thanked: 1Would you gentlemen mind helping a brother out?
I have been wet shaving for about 10 years now, the first six or seven years with straights. I learned everything from this forum and straight razor designs is my store of choice for supply. Anyways last few years I've switched over to safety razors for time and convenience sake. Yes I've gone to the "dark side" but the shave is just as close and frankly it's cheaper and quicker. AND my blades are still 60 years old!
I've recently cleaned out my cabinet and I have four straights left I forgot about, now I would like to put them up for sale. Problem is I can't remember anything about them, if I posted pictures would you guys help me out and suggest what I should charge selling them here? I don't want to put them on Flea Bay because I want them to go to good homes, I'm not going to charge an arm & a leg, I just need to get rid of them.
2 are fresh from TX, Ken at Ruprazor had always done my freshing up every so often. These 2 have not been used since back if I'm correct, and the other 2 probably could stand to be touched up.
So how would I do this? Just post the pics in this thread & discuss Then put them in the for sale area when ready with a price in mind?
Thank you in advance for all the help and guidance!!!!!

Thanked: 4249That should be done via Pm's. No evaluation on the open forum.

Thanked: 634If you want to post them in B-S-T you need to register and pay the $10 yearly fee. Once approved you can list each razor with description and photos and price. If a member wants to buy a razor they can send a PM with their info and pay you thru PayPal.
Read the rules under B-S-T.
Good luck

Or put them on ebay. If well described and pictured you will get the market value.

The SRP BST allows auctions. Skip on over and read the auction rules to see if that would work for you. I feel this might be a great way to get close to market value and keep it with a SRP member.
