Thanked: 39Differences in Puma Models
Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if there is any real difference between the various Puma models, I.e. High Class vs. Special, or if they're really only cosmetic. Also, to all the Puma users out there, do you have a favorite model and type of these razors?
Any help is appreciated, as always!
Thanks,
Matt

Thanked: 4826I really like the 1/2 hollow Puma razor I have. It is actually the last one, the others all went to new homes. I am fairly certain it is all marketing. However there were a ton of models and I have only had five of them, so a very small sampling.

I have had a few of the later, thin hollow ones pass through my hands.
As good as many fine German razors.

I like my 6/8 #89 full hollow. It is a big blade.

Thanked: 3224Besides cosmetics there are also different grinds. Other than that I guess it depends on whether the workers were having a good or bad day. I can say my Puma 18 shaves as well as any other Solingen full hollow I have.

Big pile of 'new' ones out there. I would not know about them, however.
A bit doubtful...
Anyone?
