    Default George wostenholm & sons IXL Washington works razor

    Razor I am restoring. It had a bunch of pitting and I didn't feel like sanding it all out so I went ahead and polished it up. Will put it in some black horn scales I took off cheap razor since scales fit. Will add photos when it is done but might be a few days before it is in scales. Will learn how to hone smiling blades on this almost wedge will probably use tape on spine though.

    Nice. Looks fine to me. I always use tape. No need to add more wear.

    Finished pitting scales on it. Scales are just white plastic from a junk razor nothingn special. Will work on honing it when I have free time. Also mis matched pins as I never removed the other pins near wedge and was to lazy. The other end where the razor is at one pin hole had crack in middle so I fixed that and had to be careful pinning. Maybe I will come back when I decide to make scales and do a better job on it or leave it as is to remember my first almost full restore.
    Happy either way as it closes in the center.
