as you can see they seem to have been never used and even the brass plate on the top has not been engraved. I'v not cleaned the dust or marks off them from where people have been taking them out to look athem over the years as i wouldn't have a clue how to clean the correctly.
Bone or ivory not sure the grain is all in a uniform direction along the length so hoping ivory.

So really any info about them would be good, not decided if im going to part with them but i'm not keen on having this many blades in the house (maybe close to 100 in the backpack 30+ are straight razors) so insurance value would be handy if i keep these ones but if you have a inkling on what they should be worth in auction that would be great to.

Sorry about the formatting of this post i'm not that great at getting my mind down in words.

    thanks for any help
    Dan

Nice set. We can't give valuations on this forum. I usually check what they have previously sold for on eBay.

Mainly after some info about it really as all i can say about it is its a set with the days engraved on each made by kropp in sheffield dosnt seem to have been used and the scales are either bone or ivory.
all i know about straight razors is that i wouldn't trust my self bring one anywhere near my face.

Scales would not be bone. Ivory or Celluloid. I think most likely the latter.

A closer shot of the graining in the scales with light across may help identify the material.

Still hard to say. Set it on a windowsill and take the pic down the length. Close

The pins are collarless, so it could be ivory. Just seems a bit thick for that.
