Thanked: 0Kaufmann Vintage Razors?
any background info/knowledge on quality.
I happen to have the same name as this company spelled correctly too!
Considering picking up one that looks pretty good on ebay.

I had a high end looking Kaufmann vintage a few years ago. It had triple pinned scales with marble effect inserts. It was a great shaving razor. Super sharp and smooth shaving.

Thanked: 4827I think if there is a vintage razor made in a reputable area, that you think is super cool, and it is in good condition, the price is within your budget, then it is one to buy.
I am going to guess by the name that it is likely a German brand. At one point in history there were many many small producers in Germany making very fine razors. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
