Smallest blade length Razor
Hi,
I wouldn't mind trying to find a small blade length, or a straight with a small cutting edge. I am not sure what I should be searching for. I have had a look in the for sale section, and seem to be only finding standard sizes. Do they exist?
Regards

Typically, you would make one from a razor with damage to the toe. Though some were made that way, ss travel razors.

Another option is a shavette, takes 1/2 a DE blade but those are a different experience than a true straight.

Thanked: 4827There were a bunch of little razor made too. Somewhere I have pieces for some tiny Mapin and Web razors. Similar in size to the corn razors but without the 'T' on the tail.

Max Sprecher makes a micro razor he goes right down to a 1.5" cutting edge. Be aware they start at around $395, but they are custom made to your specs. His work looks amazing I have ordered a full size razor from him and once it arrives I will be posting. He is on this forum under the name Maximilian.

It took a while for some of the long time members to convince me that there were many 2," or shorter, edge razors that were produced over the years. I have found four blades of that length. I don't have one at this location for a photograph.
