Default Close call! SSA Sweden razor

Razor had a lot of pitting by edge and some rust on edge. One spot had pitting what looked to be all the way through the blade by edge. Decided to give it a chance though and took the razor on the DMT 325 and a clean bevel showed up to my surprise. Gave it a 12k edge and it shaved nicely. It was cleaned with just mothers polish, not really sure if future edges down line will avoid pitting but for now it is nice shaver. Will probably put super coti edge on it later. Think my next investment needs to be a camera haha.

Ive got an SSA also. Nice shaver. Good to hear you were able to get past the rust without having to take to much metal away.

SSA are nice shavers. I believe the name on the tang might have been the USA importer's name. Enjoy your new razor.
