I’ve come to understand that any Filarmonica with the JMP tang stamp is a winner, regardless of whether it is first or second generation.

The difference between first and second being the presence of Made in Spain on the backside of the tang.

The Medallion Taurino series are, from what I’ve read, Doble Temple razors with special bullfighting gold etches on them. There are 6 different versions representing different stages of the fight.

I have a 13 and 14 DT. Both are excellent shavers.

The Sello Oro is the least desirable of the Filarmonicas.
Made after the old man passed.

As if he were grinding away until the end came? IF he ever ground a razor at all?.....

I simply can rely on my examples and have decided they are every bit as good, AFAIK.
There are those who shall disagree.
