Thread: Famex Solingen Razors

Hey everyone,

I’m just wondering if anyone has experience with Famex Razors. I am curious as to how they perform and whether they take a good edge.

Any information that could be provided would be appreciated.

Never heard of them before, but the few results when I got when doing a search of SRP indicated they are a less well known company that produced good quality razors.

I believe that they were mainly sold in France. I have not owned one, but they look like quality razors.

Not too many vintage Solingen made razors were crap regardless of the name they carried. Like Sheffield, there were hundreds of razor makers competing to sell razors so most were quality made.
