    Default Slater Bros 'Venture'

Just thought I'd share my latest acquisition with the forum, a Slater Bros 5/8 hollow ground with original (natural material) scales. I am led to understand that the 'Venture' mark indicates this to be circa 1900. It shaves beautifully and bears almost no wear marks or pitting anywhere, generally it's in fantastic condition for its age (unlike its owner.)Name: IMG_5750.jpg

It's a keeper, but then I have said that on at least three other occasions
