    Just picked up this razor from Ebay. Figured I could practice cleaning and getting used to the overall process. Can anyone tell me anything about this razor? What kind of scales are these? What are the dark marks on the scales? Any and all help would be appreciated.

    The scales are bone. The dark spots are made by matter in the bone pores.

    Congrats!

    Very good quality Swedish made razor, hard to beat razors from Sweden. I had one of those once upon a time and like a d___ fool sold it!

    As mentioned above, it’s a quality razor with bone scales. That style of blade is know an a Faux Frameback.
