Unmarked Razor
Sorry, this is probably a fairly common thread but I am incredibly curious about this razor. Its unmarked near wedge 7/8 straight razor with no bevel. Its a razor I purchase for 20$ and I was wondering if any information at all could be gotten

Many of us here have unmarked razors. I named mine "John Doe" and he gives great shaves. Yours looks like a nice razor. I suggest you get it professionally honed and take it for a test drive.

Ive got one 8 thought was unmarked. Then after a bit of cleaning i found it was marked Germany on the side of the tail. Be sure to look in odd places. It looks like a decent razor if nothing else.
It's just Sharpening, right?

I just looked on ebay at Filarmonica #14 Novodur JMP and I think you guys are on the money. The tang has an identical form with the same grooves and all, the scales are identical apart from the what looks like edges got clipped by owner, aswell as the blade. It also honed up beautifully and has a great edge now. Any idea on if the scales are ivory or not?

Not ivory collars and too thick, plus on a razor that typically wouldn't have. Tc

I agree with others that it has a typical 14 profile. 14s were particularly popular in Spain, some being ground there (like the Filarmonicas), some ground in Germany for export. There were some French labels as well.
But the Spanish ones were typically full hollow ground. The grind on your razor looks like a quarter hollow and as tcrideshd pointed out the shoulder is ground differently on one side than the other.
Impossible to tell, but it's a really nice looking blade, and now that you've reported that it took a good edge, you've got a winner there. Could be from one of the great makers and they sold it as a second because of the inconsistent shoulder grind.
