All above are fantastic. Unless I missed it, no one has mentioned Brian Brown. I’ve owned a couple of his custom razors over the years and they are as good as anything I’ve seen.

    Thanks.
I have two big blades that shave great and look great:

Silverloaf, he restores and also makes his own, look for one than he made. Most of the blades he makes are 8/8 or larger.

    M. Martinez (Martinez Blades), makes fine 8/8 and larger razors. Mine is 17/16 and is a joy to shave with, go BIG.

I have a 17/16 Wade butcher I'm currently using and love it! Silverloaf touched base with me a day or so ago and said he has a few 11/8ths I think I'll try one of his Stoked being that he specializes in sheffield wedge types, exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!

I think you'll be happy with a Silverloaf, I have 2 of them and they are both great shavers

I own about 25 custom razors. My suggestion is to walk before you run. Start with a Ralf Aust which is an excellent, affordable razor when bought from a experience honer.

Really like my Koraat razors. Great workmanship and pricing.
