Jim,

How's this razor doing? Did it clean up well, more importantly, and did it shave well? I picked up one of these last week and I'm trying to decide whether to put it at the top or the bottom of my project queue. Thanks for your thoughts.

Well i was slack with it. I placed it in a coffin and tossed it in a dark corner until last Sunday.
Then i took it out compared the blemishes on the razor with those form the whole series of pictures i took last month and decided i was going to keep the scales... after 6 weeks there was no further discernable damage so maybe the "celluloid rot" diagnoses is wrong (i'm hoping)

So far i have only Maased the blade a few times and it is looking better... I'll try and finish cleaning it and honining early next week, sooner if it rains
