Default how does one go about approximating a date of manufacture?

Curiosity stuck me today. I was shaving with my Jonathan Crookes and started wondering how old the razor I was shaving with was. Does anyone have any good advice on how to approximate a year of manufacture? Thanks!!

Look on strazors.com under construction. It will show razor parts, different grinds, tang size by date, points and spine profiles.
