    The san mai construction is interesting.
    My preference is for the traditional single steel carbon razor. As to appearance I prefer the "Riva" over all the others. I looked at the website but no prices are posted for it.

    I've searched about ceramic blade sharpening.

    It seems not that easy to have a long-lasting smooth edge.
    And, It's difficult to put a keen edge more than just sharp.

    Yes, I'd heard that too. To me having a ceramic bladed razor or knife is more for display than use.

    I have a small Kyocera kitchen knife, ceramic. I've found if you have a diamond hone set you can hone it. It's not that hard. However if you have any chips in the blade it has to go back to the factory.

    Just the idea of having to send it back to the factory for chip repair makes it a non starter for me or display only. Heaven forbid that you put some torque on the blade too.
