Btdubs, recently I received a 7-day set of framebacks, mostly Heljestrands and a Soderen coming from Sweden

However, some were still in good shape, and I just stropped them up and they shaved very well, I'm wondering what a typical or popular finishing stone would've been in Sweden back in the day

    anybody any thoughts on this?

My bet would be European naturals (Thüringer, coticule) and/or pastes.

I can't say enough good things about my Swedish razors.. Absolute love them.. Especially the Joh. Engstrom I purchased from Nessmuck a short time ago..
