THAT one razor you absolutely love?
I'm not sure if a thread like this already exists, but I felt like creating an amusing thread about that one razor you absolutely love
It doesn't have to be the best shaver or the best looking, it could be the ugly duckling or your workhorse, the razor you test everything on, etc. Free to choose!
For me personally, I absolutely fell in l*ve with the Henckels brand, I've collected quite a few of them over the past decade and while my RAD has slowed down, I'm still passively on the look-out for certain models from earlier eras.
This is my razor of choice:

I want a Mappin Lancet point in good condition. Never been able to find someone who has one and would be willing to sell it.

Thanked: 4826Tristan, I too love the Henckels, and regularly search eBay for the older models. They are hard to find and I am always surprised for how little they often go for. My first Straight is a Henckels that came from my great grandfather via my father, and it is a Henckels, and my favourite razor.
Top center is the favourite. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

The one...
Remember when you shaved with the first razor that you honed, and what the feeling was like?
Today I took it to the next level.
I shaved with the razor that I forged, ground, assembled and honed at Charlie's.
This was a feeling that is absolutely off the charts.
One piece of advice for every straight razor enthusiast :
Put this very high on your bucket list...

That makes you smile." - Mark Twain

I have several that I love, but am always looking for the one that I'll love the most. Perhaps I already have it and don't realize it.
