Thanked: 133Great ebay find
Got these as a lot for 180$. Listing was just straight razor lot and it ended at 8:00 in the morning so I think I did pretty good. Came with 6 razors, a brush, and coticule. Didn't show one of the razors as it still needs cleaning but is a silver steel German blade. The brush and other blade were not worth restoring. Razors had some oil on them when I got them so had a pretty good home before me. One of the MK4s looked to be NOS but had a bit of bad rust close to edge, everything will be able to take good bevel without losing any steel though luckily.

Nice catch. The back of the coticule is a Rouge de Salm, grit 5k-6k.

Thanked: 133Touched up one of my razors with the coticule now (haven't got to honing razors from lot yet). I had a weeks growth and my prep wasn't best but it did decent job on first pass. Second pass was definitely a breeze and I finished up the shave there. Was nice and as close as my normal 2 pass shaves, aftershave had very little sting when applied. Would not use edge for week+ growth but definitely a good edge for daily shaving, razor was 9/16 wade butcher hollow ground as well will test it on some other blades.
