Does the blade even have a spine to give it the proper geometry? It almost looks like a flat piece of steel.

i did not start yet to hone it, just yesterday i honed it on DMT to discrease the width of the blade to make the bevel gone away.

Thanked: 3795Did you do that to narrow the blade or just to remove the bevel?

That razor looks like it is laying flat on the wood and the edge is not touching . I doesn't look like it is finished enough to be hone normally.

Thanked: 3795I don't think the edge of any properly ground razor would be touching the table.

Look at the picture of the shave of the day of Maximilian's razor. The first picture you see when you pull up the site. The spine as well as the cutting edge is touching the cup. I don't think I have any razors that I would have to roll forward to get the cutting edge to touch the hone. I will have to go check.

My eyes are seeing a bit of hollow in the blade face. I could be wrong. If its hollow at all, it should hone normally. But its hard to say. Not much of a spine.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Try and hone it, nothing to lose.

What is the width of the spine to width of the blade ratio? 3.5 to 4 spine to width of blade is a target.
