I always wonder about 'rare'. With many small manufacturers some may not have even a single surviving razor or only a few after hundred or two hundred years. So it may not be too hard to find 'rare' razors :)
I like the examples above; like the big american blades are rare because the standard production was 5/8. Makes me wonder if 4/8 modern razors qualify as rare ;)
I don't have a picture handy but I have few George Savages. I think they were big production, but I read somewhere that they made razors only for 3 years in the mid 1800s. I always thought that's kind of rare - to be able to pinpoint a manufacturing date with such a precision.
