Thread: Jacob Ray razor sale

I purchased a custom razor from Jacob last year and really like the performance and craftsmanship. I just went to his web page to look to order another and saw he is having a great sale. Of course I ordered another razor. If you are looking for a razor from a great American craftsman, check it out. You can't beat his Damascus razors at a fantastic price.

Thanks @jkatzman. I bought his le Luxe in black horn just after you posted. Its a production razor, so it should ship in 2 weeks. It was $85 at the time.

Its my first buy of a modern straight.

@jkatzman, I received my razor today. Its beautiful, as below. I just did a quick wipe of the heavy grease, so some stilll shows in the pic.

The toe sticks out further than I realized - like a french point with a barbers notch. The bevel is set well. I requested black horn specifically with white streaks. I may mute that point slightly, but will shave with it first.

Its a fathers day gift, so I cant use it until next week.

Jacob does beautiful work. Razor looks great. I am waiting on one I ordered.
