    Default Old tricks, new tricks

Sometimes when repinning a razor and the blade won't center, you can add an extra spacer washer to one side of the blade to try to nudge it over. Well, I just found a Rodgers razor that I don't think has ever been unpinned and clearly has doubled spacers on one side. So I guess this trick has been around since the old days?

I recall taking an old razor apart, possibly a Sheffie, and being surprised that it had only 1 washer installed. Yea, I'd agree that shimming has been in use for a long time.
