    Default Puma Razors

I just bought 3 Pumas NOS. A Puma Gold, an 89 and a 90. I have one Puma in my rotation now and it’s the best shaver I have and I have some really nice razors.
They were expensive but what the heck.

They were all the rage about five years ago and were selling for crazy money. I’m happy to have one in my rotation as they are very well made razors.

Congratulations on your new Pumas, and I hope they are also great shavers for you.

For me Puma's SR are the best!

oh man Pumas are definitely on a whole different level. I have been hunting for a good price puma 89 or 1938 ( as well as a hayashi japanese razor).

I've had 5 now 2. They are fantastic shavers, easy to hone and keep a keen edge. Prices have come down.

I've also got only one, a 39 I got from gssixgun about two months ago.

A little over a month ago I decided to give it a test run and after shaving with an edge by Glen, it's hard to put down. It's been the only razor I've used for the last five weeks and it still gives an excellent shave!

Yeah, the one I have now is a no.9 I shaved with it yesterday and it was so smooth I had to make sure it was touching my face. That thing is like drawing a hot knife through butter. This morning I shaved with a Carl Monkhouse Silver Star and it’s nice but it doesn’t come close to the Puma.
