What ho! Indeed I do have one. It was in the “tapered blades and also recently acquired 18th century razors and also this Skinner” drawer.
My organization process might need some refinement.
Really. That says Skinner.-Zak Jarvis. Writer. Artist. Bon vivant.

Most cool, Zak! Mine may have been much more like Dimab's before the regrind.
Looks like the 'modernization' included taking off material under the tang!

Thanked: 174On the back side of the scales of my Magnum Bonum there are bust portraits of Franklin and Preble, which gained his fame for the Second Battle of Tripoli Harbor in the First Barbary War in 1804. The bust is identical to the one portrayed on the gold medal in his honor that was coined in 1805, so I guess the razor was made after it. How far after - that I don't know. For how long his fame has lasted? He died in 1807, and I guess after 1812 there were other battles to celebrate - so something around 1810 is definitely the right guesstimate.
