The razors are made with Hitachi factory made "Tamahagane" steel.

The characters look like 梅次 to me. No idea what they mean together in Japanese, but the first one means 'plum'. Probably a name. Anyway, you can copy and paste the characters and see whether you come up with anything. Originally Posted by Sanichknife

Hello gentlemans! I need help. The point is that I have straight razor Tanifuji Kintaki, but I can not find at least a hint of when it could be made. There is some information about Tanifuji on the Internet: a brief biography, years of life, it is said that it was issued among others under the brand Kintaki.
