Default What did I just see?

Watching a re-run of Storage Wars while eating lunch watched a guy buy a locker for about fifty bucks. Among the junk and low price recovery pieces, he unearthed a bunch of shaving stuff. A '20's traveling scuttle, brush and mirror set, a shaving sign and a seven day set of W&B razors in a good leather velvet lined box in great condition. He took them to a Beverly Hills barber who got enthused over the W&Bs. Stated they had ivory handles 'cause he saw grain in the ivory colored scales and claimed the set was worth $1000.

Since real ivory from elephant tusks is no longer available legally, a set of W&B razors with ivory scales, if in good condition, could well be worth the price quoted.

It is not illegal to use fossil ivory from mammoth tusks. But razors that use that material fetch a hefty price.
