Default Ibbotson, Peace & Co c1850

Just picked this up on the bay Ibbotson, Peace & Co. in business from 1845 to 1855. Eagle Works was located at 84 Russell Street, Sheffield. Seldom seen maker of saws and renound also for civil war Bowie knives. This old straight razor has some interesting silver painted scales with brass washers at pivot. Not sure about the brass collars at the wedge end as I can’t see evidence of the brass pin. I like the rustic look of the probably hickory scales and will just hone it up. Thanks for looking. Austin
