I'm with RezDog - lots of straights from various makers, countries, times, sizes and grinds, completely enjoy being able to lay my hand on whatever takes my fancy for that particular shave.

Also, some razors have some sentimental value as to who they're from, and there's about 10, all purchased in the period when I started, that started it all, that every time I pick up, put a smile on my face, been with me 6 years now, having said that, I have no idea where they've been for the other 150 years before that.....:-)

My current favourite is a vintage Giesen and Forsthoff Timor. It is one of the razors that the more you use it the more you like it. Having said that, there are quite a few razors in my rotation and anyone could become a current favourite. They all offer something different to be enjoyed.

The Koraat I received 2 weeks ago moved up to the top. Close second is my Mastro Livi Damascus with bone scales. I really like the balance, beauty and smooth shave from the Livi. However, for a shave to shave comparison the Koraat shaves a little better.Name: UBEgTz20TPeeJK3F5Ls33g.jpg

I don't have a particular favourite shaver, although I'm leaning towards my HoshiTombo 6500 First edition quarter hollow If it were a case of which do I think are the most beautiful looking well then it's quite an easy choice my pair of Mappin & Webb wins it hands down.

Absolutely beautiful. Can't stop looking at them. That would be a great retirement gift. Just throwing it out there....

Mine is a well used NTS 5/8th carbon. It has been to 10 countries, has over 1000 shaves on it and drives itself. It is nowhere near the prettiest, oldest or most valuable. It has just been a reliable companion that takes a nice edge on any hone you put it to

Gillette Fusion with Edge shave gel. Just kidding!

My favorite would have to be 5/8 Dovo Ebinholtz silver steel. It fits my hand and face perfectly and always shaves great.

Jealousy is a terrible thing, but I am 'well jel' of those beautiful razors.
