    Default Mysterious Scales

Anybody have an idea who made these scales?
Can't remember where I got them.
Trying to decide what to do with them.

Their a little heavy. Figured if I used them I'd shave them down to decrease weight, maybe do some kind of metal etching art.

Hmmm...don't know. But they'd look good next to mine.

Most likely they are aluminum. It’s a nice looking group. I would just polish and pick heavier blades. Or trade them with your friend for some horn and bone scale material.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

If they are heavy, they could be German silver, but I think aluminum. Should not be too heavy?

Give me a sec. I'll weigh them. Cooking brunch at moment.

EDIT: Okay got it, 21grams. Actually they don't feel that heavy. Definitely nice scales.
If you promise to make a 6 day set for show and tell, you can have them Mike.

Send um to Rez, he's probably got some blades for um.

I've got enough aluminum scaled razors.

He's got the better deal, anyhoo.

Those all nice looking. Would make a nice set. Too bad i dont have a group of fazors to make a set with them or id take them off your hands. You could make a 3 day set and a few old sheffield razors not matching.

Nice set no mater what ya do with them.

Shaun the offer is out there if you are interested.

I was thinking about it and should probably keep two for a weekend set I've got.
Two for Rez to make his weekend set.
And one more for whom ever has a lonely blade that longs for the feel of a shiny metal dress...
