I know this razor is at least 45 years old, because that’s when I bought it in a flea market in London, UK.

The etching on the blade is pretty worn and difficult to photograph, but says

“The Royal Guard’s Razor
Finest Hollow Ground”

The stamp on the tang reads

“Forged and Real Hollow Ground in Germany”

I can’t find any other marks on the blade. Just wondering if it is one of those generic razors made by an anonymous cutler or if it has some more specific maker. AN approximate date of manufacture would be nice to know too.
