Hi guys
this is the quest that send me here - I'm after a information on my Sheffield steel (ground in Hamburg) straight razor. Image at the end of the post. Picked it up today. Please do let me know if this is in the wrong place (new to the forum. Sorry!) And I will be happy to move it!

Looks to be a very clean blade. Full hollow. Nice choice to a first.
Welcome to SRP. Be sure to read the info in our library about begginning to shave with a straight. And you might scan the rules too. Lots make that mistake. The value of any razor is what you are willing to pay for it.
You can watch the buy, sell, trade thread here and see other razors being sold and ebay. That will give you an idea what folks would pay for it.It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 104If you do a search on ebay for completed auctions, you can find a price that is probable. Make sure to check closed auctions. Asking price does not equal value.
