Default The story of a straight razor Starlet.

Good afternoon! I got a dangerous razor "Starlet" and do not know the history of this razor (when, where and by whom was this razor made?) Be kind to the members of the forum who know at least some information please share. Thank you very much!

Made by or distributed by Itō Co. & LTD , Tokyo, Japan.
I think they started in the late 1950s.
Hopefully one of the Japanese razor fans will chime in with more information.

I believe I have one of those somewhere but yes, it is a razor made in Japan & to my recollection, I have not seen a Japanese razor that was junk.

I have 7 razors from various Japanese makers. None of them are lacking in quality.
The only thing that would affect their value/usefulness would be poor condition.
