Thanks! It looks like Flambeau makes a VC2-2 capsule that would be a perfect size to stick in the back of the drawer, right next to a desiccant packet.

I use the ZeRust caps use in toolbox and their PlasTabs with my razors.

Are your drawers going to be airtight?

If not the desiccant packs will just pull moisture from the room air until they are quickly used up.

Well, I guess it will depend on the skill level of the woodworker. I was going to find someone who makes jewelry chests with drawers, and replace the usual kind of drawer with various partitions for jewelry with two rails with notches to hold the razors at the tangs and wedge ends. Not sure how tight I can get them to make the drawers.

As for the dessicants, I was going to simply take some silica gel crystals and put them in some kind of breathable pouch small enough to fit at the back of the drawer. I think I can periodically refresh them in a very low oven to drive off any moisture they absorbed. But I can see the problem that could occur if too much outside air can circulate within.

I have used a pack with these instructions in a safe with gaskets on the door.

I have not kept a log but every 6 months to a year to recharge.
