Thanks to Jamie, I had to look up 'sprat' on Google. The last bit could be used as a band name...The True Sprats

    sprat
    /sprat/
    noun
a small marine fish of the herring family, widely caught for food and fish products.
any of a number of small fishes that resemble the true sprats, e.g., the sand eel.

I recognized the trademark on the box as belonging to Kikuboshi (kiku = chrysanthemum), the diamond-shaped flower with 5-pointed star in the middle. With those figured scales and the double stabilizers, it's sure a unique beauty, Tom!

I am not sure “who” they were for or used them but the Wade & Butcher FBU blades have all been “industrial” sized and top notch quality and materials.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
