Thanked: 315Local Find
Found these today. Been trying to pinch pennies for something else I really want but these looked really interesting to me. Not a matching set unfortunately.
One looks like WEBBER with nothing else on it. Unfortunately past owner "personalized" the scales.
Any information would be appreciated!

Sweet find Joshua!
I like the scales, and those blades have some nice curves.
Great restore projects!

Thanked: 315Hot needle didn't leave a mark on either set of scales so that is encouraging! Webber needs a LOT of love though.

Thanked: 98I kinda dig the etched initials "personalized" scale. Gives it a bit of that trench warfare carved gun stock feel.

I think the spines and tangs will be the easy part.
Gonna have to decide when to call it on those blade faces though, especially the smaller one as it seems to have some pitting.
I would remove the scales, make it easier to work on, do a thorough job, and save the ivory.
Outback has plenty of posts on the ivory restores.
Edit: I just remembered your workspace situation is limited.
Everything by hand on that one blade may take a long time..Last edited by MikeT; 10-28-2018 at 08:42 PM.

The Joseph Rodgers I *think* is a copycat firm that Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Norfolk St got engaged in lawsuits with. But I would need to check.
Those definitely look like ivory to me. The scales with the pointier tips intrigue me - they look like they have an ivory wedge, and that combined with the shape is more reminiscent of French razors.
