Josh - what sort of grind is it? The bevel on the top picture makes me think its not a full hollow - or did Bill go for a lower shoulder width ratio?

She's a beauty! Bill does wonderful work - you should take your camera and post a picture of your barber's gob-smacked face when he first sees it

Well, my barber's jaw dropped and begged me enough that I let him shave me with it lol....it was a great shave! The grind is pretty unique in and sort of tapers a bit, I dont know what I would call it to tell you the truth it starts out as a wedge and hollows a bit towards the center.

I'd name it "Chubby", or maybe "Fat Albert" ... I love the workmanship of it, but it reminds me of someone's avatar that has the (joke) gillette 8000 with like 16 blades and it's almost 2 inches tall. Your RW makes a regular straight look like a toothpick. Well. I guess we know who wins the pissing contest, thank God we're not about to start comparing dick size.

Bill wanted to call it The Tank, but I think The Whale is better. When it's close it looks like a whale.

The Behemoth? The Levithian? I mean seriously...the whale.....it's much to big to be called a whale.

No wonder, he can't have many customers bring in mega monster razors to his shop. Good to hear you got a good shave with it (must have been quite a change for your barber).

You should get yourself a 2/8 razor, just to be able to lay them down side-by-side and take a pic of them

It was a major challenge for my barber because he is used to using the dovo shavette, he said they are much more maneuverable. I cant get a 2/8, because I have vowed never to go smaller than 8/8

I was always partial to the name "The Beast"....but it may be to pretty to call it that...then again...when I say 12/8 that pretty much gets the point accross.
