How to get an Even Bevel on a Bengall Wedge?
I have a 7/8 Bengall Wedge that I am currently working on
This is a really nice razor except for one problem.
one of the sides of the razor does not have an even bevel. This is a direct result and uneven spine (pictures attached).
The side with the uneven spine has been marked 2 rectangular boxes to show uneven spine. How do I get create an even bevel?

Ah!
Send it to someone that can grind a razor!
Try Joe Chandler, Robert Williams, Bill Ellis.....to name a few local talents.
At least, that's what I'd do for such a fine looking razor as that!

Definitely send it out, honing it and sanding it will make it worst trust me

I would concur with the other members above. Sanding and honing will take forever.

Thats where being a real honemeister pays off. Its not easy and unorthodox techniques are required. Unless you are well experienced in honing or just want to use it as a test razor I wouldn't try it. Like everyone says, send it out.
