As an optimist by choice (and a little natural inclination)...
Shorty!
Though I can appreciate the romantic images that come to mind..
A picturesque scene, wind blowing leaves past the trunks of bare trees as it moves up and through a wind chime that only a father could love, creating a heart rendering sound that would pull emotions from stone...
These images fail to provide me with the assurance, that this dear friends memory would best be served on that porch.
Shorty.

Thanked: 110The scales will be saved for sure if i dont try the shorty route.. I have this nice little John S Holler that has warped scales and does not center.. Though i would like to put her in a nicer set the ones off my broken one will suffice for now... As long as the Holler smile will match the scales?..

It is better to have shaved and lost than never to have shaved at all.
Deepest sympathy on your loss although the idea of a shorty does sound interesting. As the Phoenix rises from the ashes so too must the shorty rise to fly anew.Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17

Thanked: 557It is heartening how the loss of one member’s razor has inspired the poetic nature of others in this forum. You are all romantics at heart.

. Maybe we need an open forum titled "In Memoriam".. Any items that for one reason or another have reached their final resting place the owner/members can give our respects and maybe say a few things.. Lol!
